Ryota Makino is from Nagano in Japan. He received a Bachelor Degree from Chiba University in 2013, and he has been working at public elementary school for 3 years. He is trying to find a good way to communicate with children in the field of Arts and he has been studying ceramics at Capellagården, Sweden from 2017. During his studies in Sweden, he has become more and more interested in the relationship between artifacts and crafts. Makino is trying and creating works based on respects for the culture or lifestyle in the country where he is visiting.
