牧野遼太
1990年長野県生まれ。2017年にCapellagårdenへ留学した頃から手捻りでの動物や人型の一輪挿し・置物を制作しています。正確な設計図がなく、日々の暮らしや人との繋がりのなかから、ゆらぎつつ折り重なって生まれる日記のような作品なのかもしれません。2025年から石川県に移り住み、伝統的な九谷焼の技法を学びつつ制作を続けています。
Ryota Makino is from Nagano in Japan. He received a Bachelor Degree from Chiba University in 2013, and then he worked at public elementary school for 3 years. He is trying to find a good way to communicate with children in the field of Arts and he has been studying ceramics at Capellagården, Sweden from 2017. During his studies in Sweden, he has become more and more interested in the relationship between artifacts and crafts. Makino is trying and creating works based on respects for the culture or lifestyle in the country where he is visiting.
